How Do You Wash Laundry and other FAQ?

You may choose from our standard premium soaps and softeners, our organic products, or you may provide your own.

We touch every piece of laundry before it gets loaded into a washer, and will sort your laundry into Lights, Darks and Whites if specified on your order. Note, we do not turn socks or other items right side out. It all gets washed and folded the way we receive it.

We do spot treatment upon request. Drop us a note in your bag and mark the items that require treatment with painter’s tape or a note pinned to the garment.

We can dry requested garments on low heat or hang dry upon request. There is an additional charge for this labor-intensive service

We match up pairs of socks, but we do not turn them right side out.

We follow industry standards for folding and we don’t deviate from that. Every customer’s completed order should look the same.

On very rare occasions, if a garment is lost or damaged, please let us know and we will do our best to make things right.

Please check the box on our intake interface (or leave full scope details in the ‘Notes’ section of our website) specifying your items are contaminated when initiating an order. This will summon the Minte team, and someone will get back to you via phone, email or text with advice on how to proceed. Please note laundering of contaminated items cannot be guaranteed for the protection of all our customers and staff. Items we consider contaminated include: human and animal excretions, lice, bed bugs and other infestations, construction contamination such as grease, paint, asbestos, lead, etc., and other issues requiring specialized service. At times, you may be asked to share a photo to best describe the state of your garments. You must advise us of the type of contamination to allow our team to determine ability to
service.

Simply schedule a pickup online or by phone. Our team will arrive at your location at the scheduled time, collect your laundry, bring it to one of our service centers, wash, dry, and fold it, and return it to your door within the designated time frame.

We offer pickup and delivery to Somerset County, Union County and parts of Morris County, NJ. You can check if your location is covered by entering your zip code on our website or contacting us directly.

Scheduling pickup is easy! Just visit our website and fill out the pickup request form.

We accept all kinds of laundry, including clothing, comforters, quilts, blankets, towels, linens, uniforms, and more. We do not take bath mats, rugs, shower curtains, or other items that have plastic, rubber, or vinyl components because they may damage our equipment.

We do not offer dry cleaning services because we specialize and focus on laundering. If you're unsure about an item, feel free to ask!

It's not necessary, but sorting your laundry into colors, delicates, and heavy items will help us ensure the best care for your clothes. If you prefer, we can handle the sorting for you!

We use high-quality detergents and machines to wash and dry your clothes with care. All items are folded and neatly packed in a plastic bag within your clean laundry bag before we return them to you. If you have special preferences (e.g., hang dry, hypoallergenic detergent), just let us know!

We have a minimum order requirement of 35 pounds.

Most orders are returned to you within 48 hours. We do offer an expedited service for an additional charge and will advise on available delivery timings at the time your order is placed.

All orders must be pre-paid. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely online for your convenience.

We take great care to handle your laundry with the utmost respect and care. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged or lost, we offer compensation, or a resolution based on our policy. Please reach out to us immediately if you notice any issues with your order.
